Chester-Horicon Summer
Reading Program

Designed for kids ages 5 to 12 to encourage life-long reading habits. Read for a chance to win a new E-reader and other prizes. Earn one point per page and unlock games and other incentives. Program begins on July 1st and ends on August 22nd. Click here to get started. which is how the survey was conducted.

Summer Reading at New York Libraries is funded through the Federal Library Services and Technology Act, with funds awarded to the New York State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services. The New York State Library is part of the Office of Cultural Education in the New York State Education Department.
