Notice to Library Patrons: The Town Municipal Center Building, in which the Library is housed, will be closing its doors beginning Monday, Dec. 28, 2020 due to the increased COVID-19 level in our area. Town staff will continue to provide services by appointment only.Because of this development the Library will return to the curbside service model used this last summer. The Library will no longer be open for browsing or in-library pickups. Inter-Library Loan is still available. Material requests can be made by phone (518-494-5384) or on-line (pac.sals.edu) WIFI is available 24/7 in our parking lot. In-library use of computers is available by appointment only. Fax, scan and copy services are also still available by appointment only. Notary services are not available at this time. PLEASE CONTINUE TO RETURN LIBRARY ITEMS TO THE OUTSIDE DROP BOX. We are Hiring! The Library is seeking applications for a Library Aide. 20 hour week. Duties include circulation, cataloging, and social media management. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, familiarity with computer and mobile device use, willingness to work Saturdays and some evenings. The Friends of the Library uses proceeds from fund raising events and membership fees to host educational events, provide programming for children, and to purchase books, periodicals and equipment for the library.
